Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform and/or supervise sheet metal related maintenance on the aircraft and components, including but not limited to:
– Crafting, shaping, and forming metal using various tools and techniques to replace or repair damaged parts,
– Installing (including riveting, fastening) parts or components on aircraft and components. - Workout repair sketches for the repairs performed by team members.
- Leading team of sheet metal repairmen, including tasks distribution and control.
- Signing/stamping the related documentation for the maintenance performed and/or supervised.
General Requirements:
- Be at least 23 years of age.
- Be able to comprehend the maintenance manuals and instructions for maintenance tasks.
- Be able to comprehend structure repair Blueprint/Drawings.
- Be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- People management, Leadership skills.
- Completed apprenticeship or training in a sheet metal working trade such as metal worker etc.
- At least 3 years Aircraft Sheet Metal Work experience on large commercial jets (for example: Airbus A320, Boeing 737).
- Experience in team leader/supervisor role (desirable).
