Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct and/or supervise non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections on aircraft components and structures to identify defects, such as cracks or weaknesses, without causing damage.
- Interpret the test results, prepare reports.
- Signing/stamping the related documentation for the maintenance performed and/or supervised.
General Requirements:
- Be at least 23 years of age.
- Meet medical requirements for NDT Level 2 (visual, color perception).
- Be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Training/certification: Must hold a valid and relevant NDT Level 2 certification (training, examination, and experience) in accordance with recognized industry standards (e.g., NAS 410, EN 4179, ISO 9712). Either hold all or combination of these methods:
– liquid penetrant (PT),
– magnetic particle (MT),
– thermographic (IRT),
– radiographic (RT),
– ultrasonic (UT),
– eddy current (ET). - At least 0,5 year as qualified NDT responsible Level 2 experience in large commercial jets aircraft maintenance operations (for example: Airbus A320, Boeing 737).
