Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the aircraft maintenance organization’s NDT program.
- Establish, review, and update NDT procedures, techniques, and inspection methods.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as those set by the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration).
- Ensure that Level 1, Level 2 NDT technicians are qualified, certified, and properly trained.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior NDT personnel.
General Requirements:
- Be at least 25 years of age.
- Be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- People management skills.
- Training/certification: Must hold a valid and relevant NDT Level 3 certification in accordance with recognized industry standards (e.g., NAS 410, EN 4179, ISO 9712).
- At least 2 years NDT responsible Level 3 experience in large commercial jets aircraft maintenance operations (for example: Airbus A320, Boeing 737).
- Experience in team leader/supervisor role (desirable).
