Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform and/or supervise repairs on damaged or deteriorated composite components of aircraft. This involves repairing composite surfaces, layers, and structures using Lamination and Layup, Vacuum Bagging etc.
- Supervising other Repairmen.
- Workout repair sketches for the repairs performed by team members.
- Signing/stamping the related documentation for the maintenance performed and/or supervised.
General Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be able to comprehend the maintenance manuals and instructions for maintenance tasks.
- Be able to comprehend repair Blueprint/Drawings.
- Be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Training/certification: Completed apprenticeship or training in a composite repair trade.
- At least 2 years Aircraft Composite Repair experience on large commercial jets (for example: Airbus A320, Boeing 737).
