Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform and/or supervise the maintenance of an aircraft (including all required inspections, repairs, adjustments and tests).
  • Leading team (~10 persons) of unlicensed mechanics and licensed technicians, including tasks distribution and control.
  • Signing/stamping the related documentation for the maintenance performed and/or supervised.

General Requirements:

  • Be at least 23 years of age.
  • Be able to comprehend the maintenance manuals and instructions for maintenance tasks.
  • Be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • People management, Leadership skills.
  • Training/certification: • Dominican Republic, IDAC TMA License (Estructura, Motor)
    or USA, FAA Mechanic License (A&P).
  • Experience requirements: • At least 2 years of Heavy (hangar) Maintenance experience on large commercial jets (for example: Airbus A320, Boeing 737).
  • Must have been actively working in aircraft maintenance for at least 6 of the preceding 24 months.
  • Experience as supervisor, team leader or similar position.
