The Finance Manager will be responsible for the following: A focus on Tax Management: the tax experience is mandatory, we welcome individuals with expertise in (such as KPMG, EY, Deloitte, or local consultant firm BOD and so on) tax working experience or company tax working experience.
1, Work under the Central America and the Caribbean tax team; support the Country CFO and the Tax Team in handling tax audits, including but not limited to coordinating fieldwork, preparing paperwork, conducting analyses, and drafting responses
2, Be in charge of daily tax operations (including but not limited to tax filing, supervising tax calculation, preparing mandatory tax documents, providing support in business operations, reviewing contracts, and managing tax risk assessment) depending on the performance, covering the countries not limited to Jamaica, Haiti, Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Martinique, Anguilla, Bermuda and so on.
3, Be responsible for providing tax opinions as the business needs.
4, To be involved in regional projects across Central America and the Caribbean subject to the team’s resource allocation and needs.
knowledge:
- Tax compliance GCT (VAT), Contractor Levy, Withholding CIT, and Corporate Income Tax (CIT).
- Able to Interpret and apply key tax sources to carry out and document the results of tax compliance and advisory work
- Able to be aware of potential tax planning opportunities associated with the local tax environment.
